COVID-19 Message
Customer safety during COVID-19
To reduce the potential spread of COVID-19, please observe the following guidelines when visiting one of the SPU Household Hazardous Waste facilities:
- DO NOT visit if you have a cough, fever, shortness of breath, sore throat or sore muscles.
- Practice physical distancing by keeping at least 6 feet of space between yourself, our staff, and other customers.
- Face coverings are required.
Seattle has two household hazardous waste facilities that are free for Seattle residents. These are separate facilities from the Transfer Stations, and the Transfer Stations do not accept household hazardous waste. No appointment is needed.
