Standard Specifications and Plans

Proposed 2023 Construction Standards

The City of Seattle is conducting a 60-day interdepartmental and public comment period from November 1 to December 31, 2022 for our 2023 Proposed Construction Standards (Plans and Specs).

The City’s “Plans and Specs,” as they are often called, apply whenever any public or private construction is performed in the City of Seattle’s Right of Way. These Construction Standards also serve as the primary contract documents for public works construction contracts.

Hard copies of the 2023 Edition Construction Standards are scheduled to be published at the end of February 2023.

Please download this comment spreadsheet and submit your comments to City_Standards_Engineer@Seattle.gov.
