Waste Prevention Survey (for Seattle residents)

Take the Waste Prevention Survey

Share your perspectives to help Seattle Public Utilities better understand how we can support our community in preventing waste. Seattle residents who complete the survey will be entered into the raffle for a chance to win a $50 Visa gift card.

The survey is available in English, Amharic, Simplified Chinese, Traditional Chinese, Korean, Somali, Spanish, and Vietnamese.

Seattle RACE to ZERO WASTE Contest

The Seattle RACE to ZERO WASTE Contest is a partnership between Seattle Public Utilities and Seattle Public Schools. We invite everyone in Seattle to become a part of the waste solution by sharing your creative and innovative ideas for preventing waste.

Contest winners will be announced November 30, 2023. Learn more about the competition and prizes.

Waste Prevention Plan Review (2024)

SPU will share the Draft Waste Prevention Strategic Plan for additional community feedback in late 2024. We will also share the community input we collected and how we reflected it in the WP Plan.
