Commercial Vehicle Load Zone Permits
Commercial Vehicle Load Zones (CVLZ) are a specific type of parking area where service delivery vehicles can park. Regular truck loading and unloading zones do not adequately meet the needs of these vehicles.
How to get a Commercial Vehicle Load Zone Permit:
You can either apply online or in person:
- To apply online, visit the Seattle Services Portal.
- Log in to your existing account or create a new account.
- Under "Create New," click "Permits- Parking & Truck."
- Under "Select a Permit Type," click "Commercial Vehicles and Trucks."
- Select "Commercial Vehicle Loading Zone - Application," and click "Continue Application."
- Continue application.
- To apply in person, visit the Traffic and Street Use SDOT Customer Information Desk.
- Hours: Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday from 10:30 AM to 3:00 PM.
- Location: The SDOT Customer Information Desk is located on fourth floor of the Seattle Municipal Tower at 700 5th Avenue, Seattle, WA 98104.
