Come Work with Seattle Information Technology
Join us in our mission to be One City, connected by technology
Seattle Information Technology (Seattle IT) looks to collaborate with people who bring innovative ideas to help meet our mission of delivering powerful technology solutions for the City and public we serve. The City of Seattle employs consultants and vendors with goods and services, as well as staff.
Here are some resources when considering a vending opportunity with Seattle IT:
- Interested in doing business with the City of Seattle? Your first step is to register.
- Add your business to the City's Online Business Directory. The City or contractors seeking partners/teams use this directory when seeking companies for work. Also, the City uses this list to distribute news about City business.
- If your business qualifies, also register on the City's Consultant Roster. Departments can hire any consultant on the Consultant Roster for projects valued at $314,000 or less.
- Attend a First Friday event. First Friday events are an introduction on how to do business with City of Seattle.
Also, attend our IT Vendor Forum. Every year, Seattle IT partners with King County Information Technology to meet with vendors interested in technology contracts. This is an opportunity for vendors to learn about the strategic vision and upcoming projects of both organizations. The event features a speed meeting round to give attendees the chance to sit down and have personal conversations with IT leaders from both departments.
