What Is It?
The Seattle Residential Code (SRC) provides minimum requirements for design and construction of single-family houses, duplexes, and townhouses with no more than three stories and with separate entrances. Seattle has adopted the 2018 International Residential Code, with amendments specific to our jurisdiction.
What It Isn't
Requirements for design and construction of all other buildings are found in the Seattle Building Code and the Seattle Existing Building Code.
