Patrol

Crisis Response Team
The Crisis Response Team works to connect individuals in crisis to resources to help to address their physical and mental health needs and divert them from the criminal justice system.
Parking Enforcement
Parking Enforcement Officers (PEOs) are department employees, but not police officers. They enforce parking regulations and violations across the city, cites abandoned vehicles, and provides traffic control.
CARE
The CARE handles all emergency calls within the city limits. It is staffed by CARE employees 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
Traffic Enforcement
The traffic section is made up of different units that handle everything from traffic control to dignitary protection.
SWAT
The Special Weapons and Tactics Team is extremely specialized and provides 24/7 response to critical situations.
Harbor Patrol
This program manages the designation and protection of more than 400 historic structures, sites, objects, and vessels, as well as eight historic districts throughout Seattle.
