Fairmount Playfield, located adjacent to Fairmount Park Elementary School, offers a Jr. soccer, softball field and two play areas.
Seattle Parks and Recreation renovated play area nearest to the school in 2022. The play structures feature multiple slides, overhead ring trek, small net climber, suspension bridge places to hop and balance, plus fun ways to get up and down.
A future pavement renovation project will update adjacent paths to meet current accessibility standards and connect the north play ramp with a new accessible sidewalk. For questions about this future work contact Shannon Glass at Shannon.glass@seattle.gov.
