The grassy non-lifeguarded beach is surrounded by an old stone wall, which marked the shoreline before 1917 when the lake level was lowered nine feet by the construction of the Lake Washington Ship Canal. Update on Proposed Supplemental Use Guidelines
In May 2024, SPR worked with stakeholders to develop a set of proposed supplemental use guidelines for Denny Blaine Park. After taking public comment and hearing from additional members of the community, SPR has determined not to adopt these supplemental guidelines for Denny Blaine Park. Read the Parkways blog post.
