Spruce Street Mini Park Play Area Renovation
Updated: April 27, 2022
Spring 2022
We are experiencing a delay for the design on play area renovation as we just completed 90% design and are working on 100% construction documents. Seattle Parks and Recreation (SPR) anticipates bidding the project in late spring of 2022. Based on the survey #3 result from March 2021, we have developed a design that encompasses desirable play components and layout in both options A and B with bright playful colors. Please view the Spruce Street Mini Park Play Area Design Rendering and 90% Plan document here.
The artist team, Ari and Craig, commissioned for the mural art by the Office of Arts & Culture (ARTS) have also developed a design for mural art at several locations throughout the park. Please review the Spruce Street Mural Art Proview Presentation document to see the designs.
Seattle Parks and Recreation would like to thank everyone who participated in community outreach efforts. If you missed any events or would like to review event videos, presentations, or survey results please see below.
