Seattle Comprehensive Plan

Environmental Impact Statement

An Environmental Impact Statement (EIS) is an informational document that provides the City, public, and other agencies with information about potential environmental impacts and mitigating measures from a proposal in order to inform the decision-making process. The City is planning to create a draft EIS that would be released with the draft plan and a final EIS that would be released with Mayor’s recommended plan. We are currently in the process of scoping this work and are seeking feedback until July 25 on the topics to be analyzed and potential alternatives to our current urban village growth strategy.

We will also be holding two online EIS scoping meetings. Each of the meetings will have the same format and content. The meetings will include an overview presentation and an opportunity to ask questions. Below are times and link to these meetings.
