About The P-Patch
Beacon Bluff
Built in 2001/2002 by a dedicated group of neighbors, Beacon Bluff P-Patch is located on a steep, sloped street with sidewalks on each side. We have five walled terraces, each with three garden plots. In addition to decorated terraces with a sunburst designed by one founding gardener, other gardeners have created a lovely flower garden at the base of the hill (featuring archway with climbing roses, and bulb and dahlia beds). Volunteers also maintain native plantings on the upper slope above the P-Patch terraces, with a winding pathway up to 14th Ave S. And if you look closely, you might find renegade edible plantings on the upper slope too!
