The Seattle Police Department actively encourages citizens to give us direct feedback on how we can continue to improve police services. ADVISORY COUNCILS The Department has a variety of Advisory Councils made up of geographically and demographically representative community members. These councils provide the police with direct and vital feedback on perceptions of law enforcement, crime issues, and cultural issues. The Precinct Advisory Councils work directly with the precinct located in their neighborhood to partner and work on crime issues in their neighborhood. Demographic Advisory Councils work with members of minority communities to learn about perceptions of law enforcement, and to gain a better understanding when working with diverse cultures throughout the city. Learn more about Demographic Advisory Councils. TELL US ABOUT IT It helps us improve our services when community members let us know when we've done something right or something wrong.
