Public-Private Partnership Review Panel to select chair
SEATTLE — Members of the city’s new Public-Private Partnership Review Panel
will meet this week to select a chair and conduct other business. This will be the first
meeting of all 15 panelists. The 15 panelists were selected earlier this year — five
by the mayor, five by the City Council, and five by the initial 10. Other agenda items
include establishing a regular meeting time for the full group, and a review of Panelist
Guiding Principles.
The meeting will be held from 2 to 4 p.m., May 12, in room 221 of the Municipal
Building (600 Fourth Ave., second floor). No projects will be reviewed at this meeting.
The panel is part of the city’s new process (called P4) for reviewing
public-private partnerships. P4 Panelists will provide expert review of public-benefits
elements of certain public-private partnerships between the city and private or nonprofit
entities.
For additional information, see the P4 web site (http://www.cityofseattle.net/ppp/).
