VIADUCT REPLACEMENT MEASURES ON THE BALLOT
Councilmembers put two propositions on March 13 ballot

Six members of the Seattle City Council today voted to put two advisory measures on the March 13, 2007 ballot. Resolution #30957 calls for an up-or-down vote on a four-lane tunnel replacement (called the “surface/hybrid tunnel”) for the Alaskan Way Viaduct. Resolution #30958 calls for an up-or-down vote on a new elevated structure to replace the Alaskan Way Viaduct. Both resolutions are attached.
