To ensure quality affordable housing, our Asset Management unit monitors existing projects to ensure that our City-funded units are healthy and livable for low income and workforce tenants. Monitoring includes an annual review of operations. The unit also receives and manages a broad range of real estate transactions (transfers of ownership, refinancing, work outs, subsidy awards, intervention). The unit offers technical assistance on sustainable building to promote durable and energy- and water-efficient buildings, and can be a resource on other conservation programs.
