HI, I'm Lenora Jones,
I am not a Politician nor am I representing any special interest group, I am a concerned citizen; community services volunteer who will represent all the people Of Seattle. Seattle is not the buildings, nor is it the freeways or streets, But Seattle is the people, People who come from Families, who fill these buildings, homes and streets.
I am Pro-Family I am for the Single parent and Traditional Family. The Traditional family is the most vital and influential Unit of society. Healthy families tend to produce healthy citizens, but families in distress and fragmented often present tragic Challenges to individuals and society. Strong families make strong communities and strong Communities make strong societies; strong societies make strong cities and strong cities makes Strong states, and strong states make a strong Nation. Fragmented families make fragmented Cities and etc. Which is where we are today.
There are three basic institutions of order; Family, Religion and Government. Government is off base when seeking to replace, restrict, or redefine the traditional families role through its policies on welfare, education, property rights, taxes, and condom distribution, as well as abortions. I have hosted several seminars on " Renewing Family Values", to help restore families.
God's principles of social order and morality are effective with everyone. When we As a nation turn our backs on God and refuse to have him in our schools, (prayer) anarchy takes control and we see it all over our Nation.
I am an advocate of limited government; we don't need more government, what we do need is less taxation and more encouragement of the small businesses, we have almost run our small businesses away with high licenses fees and taxation. This Nation was built on small businesses and that's one of the reasons this is a great Nation. Blessed is the Nation Whose God is the Lord. I will stand against more homeowner taxation, I will stand against frivolous spending of our tax dollars. I am concerned about the cost of gasoline. The price has gone up without any reason. (Seemingly). These are a few of my concerns, I am available to you and your issues, I want to represent you on the City Council. I need your support and vote in September.
