This is to notify you that we made two expenditures over $500 and received a contribution over $500 on October 19, 1999 as follows:

1. An expenditure was made in the amount of $14,230.87 to Direct Mailing Solutions, Inc. for the purpose of coordinating the design, printing, processing and mailing of 41,860 postcards endorsing Cheryl Chow, Margaret Pageler, Heidi Wills and Jim Compton for Seattle City Council. Direct Mailing Solutions, Inc., in turn, subcontracted the printing and postage costs. This expenditure replaces the previous obligation estimated at $28,000 as reported October 12, 1999, on our C4, Schedule B, Line 3. The breakdown of expenditures is:

2. An expenditure was made to the Seattle Times for the purpose of advertisements in the Seattle Times and Seattle Post-Intelligencer on October 21, 1999, endorsing Cheryl Chow, Margaret Pageler, Heidi Wills and Jim Compton for Seattle City Council.
