Expenditures Reported by Fax Fax was dated and received October 28, 1999 The fax was on the letterhead of: The Civic Foundation 800 5th Ave, Suite 101-320 Seattle, WA 98104 Phone: (206) 378-12000 Fax: (206) 378-0539 The fax reported the following: The Civic Foundation on Oct. 27 agreed to an Obligation to support two candidates rated Outstanding by the Foundation's members. The allocation of this Obligation is as follows: Diers Bindery, 198 Nickerson Street, Seattle, WA Bindery & Postage benefiting Dawn Mason, 2155.84, Diers Bindery, 198 Nickerson Street, Seattle, WA, Bindery & Postage benefiting Charlie Chong, $2155.84. The Foundation on Oct. 27 wrote a check for 4311.68 to cover this Obligation, thereby converting it into a normal Expenditure. In addition to this fax, the above transaction will be included as per usual in our next C-4 report for this period. I have determined after reasonable inquiry that the independent expenditures reported herein by the Civic Foundation were made to the best of my knowledge without consultation, collusion, or collaboration with the candidates endorsed by the Foundation, the officers of such candidates, or such candidates' agents.
