Some things to keep in mind as you navigate through the Election Report:
- Generating these reports is a complex process. We have made every reasonable effort to ensure the accuracy of these reports, but may have made mistakes along the way. If you find a number or percentage that seems like it may be wrong, please contact SEEC staff right away at bob.deweese@ci.seattle.wa.us or by calling Bob at (206) 684-8579.
- Since 1995 the SEEC has published all information on the web using very basic html commands and little graphics, we have kept our file sizes small and avoided use of html table commands so that users of Lynx browsers would be able to make sense of our reports. This part of our site is a departure from these design guidelines. We believe that the use of graphics and tables here will make this data more readable and thus more accessible to many web users. At the moment we are planning to discontinue publishing of the text-only, non-table version of our site. Please let us know if you would like us to bring back the old version of the site. We need to know there is some interest before committing our resources to the maintenance of a low-tech version. If you do want to bring it back let us know why. Is there information available in the old version of the site that is not available here? Did you like the smaller file sizes? Do you occasionally use a Lynx browser? - You may notice that disclosure filings found on this site do not include the addresses of campaign contributors. You may also notice that out of date versions of reports, reports that have been subsequently amended by a campaign, do not include the addresses and phone numbers of committee officers (The up to date, current version of each report will contain this information). This is the only information omitted from our public web site, all other information reported by a campaign on a C1, C3 or C4 will be found here. If you would like to view a campaign's report in its entirety please visit our office at Municipal Building Room 226, 600 4th Ave between Cherry and James, or the Seattle City Clerk at room 104 in the Municipal Building.
- We plan to add additional information to this site in the future. We would really like to hear any feedback or suggestions you have.
