Introduced on June 27, 2011, the Housing, Human Services, Health, and Culture Committee has discussed a proposed paid sick leave ordinance, sponsored by Councilmember Nick Licata.

Building on Seattle's history of environmental leadership, the City Council established carbon neutrality as one of its seventeen Council priorities in 2010.
