2004 Black History Month Celebration

In recognition of just how important the right to vote is in our daily lives and in the shaping of our common destiny as citizens of the United States, our theme for 2004 is Vote For The Future. The right to vote is perhaps the most undervalued and under utilized asset US citizens possess.

We invite our fellow City employees and the public to attend and participate. The 2004 Black History Celebration provides a variety of events with respect to African American history and culture. We hope our Celebration will entertain and inform you. We hope to re-energize your participation in the political processes. Every vote is important. Use yours wisely.
