The Celebration is a showcase of visual art, live performances, and information with respect to Black history, heritage, and culture. Attendance and partcipation at all events, workshops, and activities are free of charge.
The Black History Month Committee is a collaboration of City of Seattle employees from many departments who are dedicated to providing an enjoyable celebration for the entire community. Together we work to make each Black History Month Celebration a special presentation of Black heritage and culture.
